چکیده

Background/Aim. As an optimal treatment of choice for patients with the latest stage chronic kidney failure (CKD), renal transplantation (Tx) is performed. The resistance index (RI) artery measured by Doppler ultrasonography routinely at certain time intervals to show condition graft. value RI > 0.75 considered abnormal. aim study was determine correlation between values and function transplanted kidney. Methods. We analyzed retrospectively 63 in whom transplant done Clinic Nephrology Clinical Immunology, University Center Vojvodina, Novi Sad, Serbia, period from 2013 2017. blood vessels made all examined first month after trans-plantation. In addition standard demographic data, had its relationship immediately transplantation, as well 6th, 12th, 18th month, a number 24th 48th transplantation. Results. Out patients, 63.5% were men, 26.5% women, average age 47.67 ? 13.62 years. primary diseases which led terminal CKD hypertension 33.3% different forms glomerulonephritis; while other (diabetes mellitus, pyelonephritis, eclampsia, polycystic kidneys, agenesia, unknown cause) present lower percentage. < 73%, 27% patients. There no statistically significant association serum creatinine or clearance given time, there connection gender, length previous HD. recipient, Tx type. Conclusion. observed group arteries did not prove be good predictor either early later post-transplant periods. might have greater predictive significance if it determined on procedure.

The value of Doppler ultrasound in predicting delayed graft function occurrence after kidney transplantation.

The aim of this study was to assess the predictive value of blood flow velocity and vascular resistance measured by Doppler ultrasound in terms of pulsatility index (PI) and resistive index (RI) respectively, in the occurrence of delayed graft function (DGF) after kidney transplantation. This prospective study enrolled kidney transplant recipients operated from January 2005 to April 2009 in the...

Evaluation of myocardial perfusion and function after kidney transplantation by Gated SPECT myocardial perfusion scintigraphy

Introduction: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of successful kidney transplantation (KT) on myocardial perfusion and left ventricular function by both qualitative (visual) interpretation and semiquantitative parameters, using myocardial perfusion scintigraphy with gated-single photon emission computed tomography (gated-SPECT) in patients suffering from end-stage renal disease. ...

Social participation after kidney transplantation as a predictor of graft loss and mortality over 10 years: a longitudinal study.

BACKGROUND Social participation is considered to be an objective parameter for evaluating the success of transplantation. This study explores the association between posttransplant factors (kidney function, perceived side effects of immunosuppressive treatment, comorbidity, physical and mental health-related quality of life [HRQoL]) and social participation in patients 3 months to 6 years after...

Biomarkers of delayed graft function as a form of acute kidney injury in kidney transplantation

Renal transplantation ensures distinct advantages for patients with end-stage kidney disease. However, in some cases early complications can lead to allograft dysfunction and consequently graft loss. One of the most common early complications after kidney transplantation is delayed graft function (DGF). Unfortunately there is no effective treatment for DGF, however early diagnosis of DGF and th...
